Easy Zone Plans is now available on Microsoft Store. Fire alarm engineers and contractors can find and install the application through the Store, as well as downloading the installer directly from our website.
Free demo. A licence purchased separately from easyzoneplans.com is required for full functionality, including PDF export.
Built for practical zone plan work
Easy Zone Plans helps you create clear fire alarm zone plans and evacuation plans without specialist CAD skills. Start with an existing PDF floor plan, or draw a basic layout using the wall, door and stair tools. Then add colour-coded zones, fire safety symbols and company branding.
The latest drawing and tracing features are covered in our version 1.3.1 update post. The Store listing gives you another way to get started with the application.
How to install from Microsoft Store
- Open the Easy Zone Plans Microsoft Store listing using the links above.
- On your Windows PC, choose the install option and follow the prompts.
- Open Easy Zone Plans and explore the demo, or enter your valid licence details to activate full functionality.
The “Open Microsoft Store on Windows” link launches the Store app on compatible Windows PCs. If it does not open, use the web listing instead. Easy Zone Plans requires a compatible 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC; see our download page for system requirements.
Free to try, with a separate licence for full access
The Store download is free and opens in demo mode. Full functionality, including exporting finished plans to PDF, requires a paid licence purchased separately at easyzoneplans.com. Installing through Microsoft Store does not include a paid licence.
Already have a valid Easy Zone Plans licence? Use your existing licence details for activation on your licensed computer. You do not need to purchase another licence simply because you choose the Store download. Each licence is for one computer. See licence options and pricing for details.
An alternative if browser downloads are proving difficult
If Microsoft Edge makes it difficult to download the direct installer, you can try the Microsoft Store route instead. Our download-help page now includes both options, alongside guidance for the direct installer.
On a work-managed PC, your organisation may restrict Store access or software installation. Your IT team can help with those restrictions; you do not need to turn off security settings.
The direct download is still available
Prefer to use the website installer? It remains available on our download page. Choose the route that suits your Windows setup, try the demo, and purchase a licence when you are ready to export your plans.
Thank you to the engineers who have tried Easy Zone Plans and shared feedback. Your real-world experience continues to help shape the software.
